Is This You?

It is no accident that you are reading this page.

If you're here, you have likely noticed that the stuff in your life has started to feel more like a burden rather than a pleasure.

Do any of these scenarios sound familiar?

"I might need this someday." You find yourself keeping things "just in case," even though you haven't used them in years. This faulty belief, based in a scarcity mindset, keeps you stuck in fear of lack and it is spilling over to other areas of your life and business.

"I spent good money on this." You hate the thought of getting rid of something that was expensive, even though it no longer fits, you can't stand it, or it has been gathering dust in the corner of the garage for a decade. Again, this is based in a faulty, scarcity belief system that dramatically affects how you make decisions on a day-to-day basis.

"But that was my mother's!" You feel tremendous guilt at the thought of getting rid of anything that belonged to your parents, belonged to you as a child, or represents some kind of family history to you. This limiting belief is formed when you attach the memory and love for the person with the item itself, keeping you stuck in indecision.

"It was a gift." You feel enormous guilt and often a tangle of other emotions at the idea of getting rid of an unwanted gift you received from a family member or friend. Misplaced guilt over tangible items often represents unresolved or unsettled relationships. Rather than deal with the feelings that come up, it often seems easier to just keep the item, which becomes a habit in other areas as well (instead of clear, authentic communication which would be much more empowering).

"I can't decide." You have a very difficult time making the decision to get rid of things so you never let anything go. Now your closets and garage and drawers are all stuffed, and you aren't even sure what's in them...and you give yourself the message that you can't trust your own decisions.

"I don't know where to start." You are completely overwhelmed at the thought of going through your stuff, and you have no idea where to begin, so you don't. This thought system chips away at your self-confidence and fosters a feeling of helplessness.

"I don't have time." You know you'd feel better if you cleared out your space, but other things always seem to take priority...so you end up feeling more and more behind. Other approaches to clear out and organize your stuff haven't worked, so you feel less and less energy and motivation to tackle what feels like a huge project. And the more the stuff piles up, the less energy you have.

If you can relate to any of those statements, please read on. You’re in the right place. There is help for you here.

Clients who are most successful working with me

My clients typically share many of the following characteristics. If you have these qualities, then you’re likely someone who would be a good fit for what I offer.

You believe in possibilities. You are not willing to remain stuck in what has been, trapped by limiting beliefs or reluctant to try something new. You believe that change is possible and approach problems with an optimistic attitude.

You know that lasting change takes one step at a time. You've been around the block enough to know that quick-fix solutions don't work when you want to create deep, lasting change.

You believe that you are your best asset.  You’re committed to improving your business and your life by investing in yourself.

You believe in a holistic approach to making changes. You are willing to engage all four levels of self (your actions, feelings, thoughts, and spirit) in creating wonderful, serene, organized, nurturing spaces.
