Organize Your Bathroom
One great way to organize your bathroom is to start "eliminating the
extras."
I bet you have a
bunch
of different bottles and jars and tubes of lotion in your
bathroom right now.
Some of them were part of
gift
baskets you received, some were bottles you picked up
while you were
on
vacation, some have been in there so long you don't even
remember when you got them.
Some have fragrance, some don't. Some are
for your feet. Some
are for your hands. Others are for using in the shower.
Just how many are
in
there, anyway?
In fact, why don't you go and take a quick peek?
Seriously. Go check and see
how
many different kinds of lotions you have right now.
I'll wait. :)
So how many different kinds of lotion did you find? How many are you
actually using? Do you LIKE all of them?
If you're like most people, you probably were surprised at how many
different lotions you found. And I bet you don't even like or use most
of them.
All of those bottles and jars that are
taking up room in your bathroom
- most of that stuff is clutter.
Yes, even if they were expensive. Even if they were a gift. If you're
not using them regularly (and especially if you don't like them), they
are just taking up room in your bathroom and your life.
Imagine if you had one kind of lotion that you really loved. That you
used over and over again. One that worked on your hands and your feet
and your body (OK, you can have a separate one for your face...I must
confess, I do have a separate lotion for my face, because I have really
sensitive skin!)
And imagine getting rid of all the rest.
Maybe you give it to the neighbor teenager who loves any products she
can get her hands on (better in her cupboard than yours). Maybe, if
they're unopened, they can go to a nearby charity that accepts
products. Maybe they go in the trash (that's perfectly fine, too).
Imagine that!
Rather than organize your bathroom, you simply got rid of a few extras and notice how much better things look and feel!
Now enjoy your new, spacious, airy bathroom when you're done (maybe with a
lovely glass of wine and a bubble bath).
